We stayed for two nights from a Saturday through to the Monday. Could not fault this hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and tidy, and although hotel was in student area it was very quiet. The bed was very comfy, which after a long day walking around was much appreciated. I would Definitely stay in this hotel again.

Booked two nights as part of a romantic break for a special occasion. So good we stayed another night! Young staff all great. Night porter Andy very helpful, a real Belfast character. I felt that staff were content and happy in their positions and allowed their humour and personalities to shine through whilst always remaining professional. Great breakfast, pay extra for the cooked option, good selection and much better value than the continental. Lots of popular cafes minutes away, great restaurants and bars too. Ideal spot for an traveller. We found it ideal in the summer. Great restaurant and Cocktail Bar. Do check out the offers on dining and cocktails

Lovely and clean 4-star hotel, close to the Belfast city centre (aprox. 15 minutes walk). The hotel staff is very helpful and kind. We bought a breakfast as well, the Eggs Benedict were simply delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you!
Great Hotel with very High Standards

I had a brief overnight stay at Dukes, following a late flight into Belfast City Airport.
I wish I could have stayed for longer and couldn’t fault it in any way!
The welcome was warm and friendly, the bar service was the same, and the room was superbly furnished to a very high standard.
For breakfast I had the eggs benedict, which were cooked to perfection.
The hotel is located in a great position…a quiet street near the University, but within easy walking distance of the city centre.
I’d be delighted to stay here again, and can thoroughly recommend

I visit Belfast every two weeks and have stayed in many hotels. Dukes is Quant rather than corporate and a very pleasant change. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were very well presented and of excellent standard
We arrived in Belfast after a big day and we stayed here. The service was great and the room even better. The facilities in the room were top notch and the bed was even better. We ate in the restaurant which quite good. The breakfast the next morning was also very good. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We really enjoyed our time here.
Just back from a fantastic 2 night stay at the dukes hotel and we were delighted with the friendly, personal service we received throughout our stay. From the outset we were welcomed by a polite, professional young lady who stored out luggage until our room was ready. She was knowledgeable of the area and offered advice to suit our needs. On return later to check in we were greeted by two friendly receptionists who were very helpful and polite. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a huge comfortable bed , large bath and nice bathroom. We were given a room on the second floor at our request and have no complaints other than the very dim lightning within the room. Our personal needs were catered for with no hesitation from the hotel staff, early breakfast, ice , taxis, tour tickets and boarding passes. The breakfast was very good, a wide selection of continental and prepared to order cooked breakfasts. Again the staff were polite professional and very helpful. The hotel is within the university area and surrounded by great restaurants and bars, close to botanic gardens and ormeau park. The city centre is a 5 min taxi journey or 15/20 min walk away. Thank you very much for our lovely stay, we will be back!
Nice looking hotel in a good central location. We had a large double room that was very comfortable- best bed I have slept in!! Bathroom was also large and well presented with a large bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and well served.
“Modern and comfortable”
I’ve stayed at the Dukes recently and was pleasantly surprised.
It is in walkable distance (15-20 mins) to all major sight seeing attractions in Belfast and situated close to Queens University and an abundance of small and cool eateries.
The room i stayed in was big compared to your normal hotel room size with flat screen TV, tea & coffee facilities, iPod docking station with speakers recessed in ceiling and controllable from bed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and instead of curtains the windows had shutters to manually adjust the level of light you prefer in your room. The bathroom was big with walk-in rainwater shower head as well as a separate bath tub and heated mirror (no fogging up).
The rate I got included breakfast which was very extensive: fruit, yogurt, muesli, toast brown bread, jams & marmalade, tea and coffee, fry-ups, eggs benedict, scrambled egg or omelette. Perfect to set you up for a day exploring the city.
And last but not least, very friendly and helpful staff.
Will recommend and go there again myself.

We loved the room and the very comfortable bed. The breakfast was phenomenal and you had not only a choice of fruit, bread and cereals, but you also were able to order a hot breakfast plate. Everything was delicious. The hotel restaurant was also great! They had an awesome two course deal going on with a bottle of house wine. Food was fresh and generous portions. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to other travelers.

Very nice rooms in a hotel with great location. The bar with its terrace gave us a nice opportunity to relax in the sunshine with a pint. The room was great and well equipped, huge TV which was ready to play my son’s movies from his mobile HDD. Luckily the weather was very fine, as well. The staff was very friendly.

Had my hens here in May. There was approx 20 ladies who attended and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! Many of the guests will be returning. Rooms were lovely! Food was really good and the cocktails were fantastic. Really good value for money!

I was taken to Dukes in February as a birthday trip and all I can say is WOW!
We took an easy taxi journey from the train station to the hotel, which only cost about 7 pounds and we were greeted by the nicest people at reception.
The rooms were incredible, spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing with a waterfall shower and a fountain in the bath. We were in and out of the centre of Belfast a lot but the taxi fares were very cheap, at around 4 pounds.
The staff on the front desk were on hand to call a taxi for you whenever needed. There was one particular girl on the desk who was so helpful and recommended things for us to do etc. Unfortunately her name escapes me now.
We ate in the restaurant one night, which unfortunately was one of the only downfalls of the place. The food was only ok and we were quite rushed. However, we did arrive in at last orders.
The hotel is situated just at the top of a street which has numerous restaurants, cafes, bars etc. so we were never short of somewhere to eat out.
All in all I loved this hotel and I am hoping to return sometime soon.

After reading many positive reviews of the Dukes at Queens hotel we decided to book a 3 night stay, the boutique hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard the rooms are very large and clean the staff at the hotel are very helpful the breakfast is excellent with much choice. With the city centre only a 15 minute walk away the is another reason to stay at the Duke at Queens.
